Diverse fitness app
I think that’s the main distinction with Peak Strength, which is asks you what is your goal, asks you what equipment you have or don’t have, and then creates a specific workout plan based on that. It’s not quite like TrainerRoad but it does adjust the plan as you go, with specific periodization and what not. BTW I’m not affiliated in any way, I’ve just been very satisfied over the past few months.

It has instructional videos if you need those, is easy to track 1rm. You can even share workouts with other users (sent my routine to my son). The app is well designed, easy to follow, and it keeps the essence of Heather’s workouts while adding great extras like recipes, guides, and programs. HUAWEI Health
The Hevy app icon is better than the Strong app icon. Have been through all the apps there are. Integrates with Strava in a very cool way, puts all the sets and weights into the description and makes a chart of the muscles worked. You can create workout routines and just hit start. Interface isn’t fussy at all to use in the gym. The app has thought of everything a person in the gym wants.

So if you start with one and decide you want to switch then you basically have to lose all your history and start from scratch. App for strength training?
Although I have used their donation feature previously because I have used it so much. It syncs workout logs to Strava, if you want your HR data and stuff though you’ll need to use your watch or whatever to track a strength activity, which is what I do and that is what uploads to TR. It has a great workout builder though and is super easy to use once you get it set up, it’s definitely the best free app I’ve ever used. Heather’s programs are adaptable to all fitness levels. While she guides you through each workout you are always encouraged to work at your own pace. A healthy, balanced diet and regular exercise are necessary for weight loss, maintenance, muscle building or toning.
